Safeguarding and Early Help
At Yorkley Primary School, safeguarding is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment where every child can learn and thrive.
Safeguarding means protecting children from harm, ensuring their health and wellbeing, and providing the right support when needed. All staff, volunteers, and visitors share this responsibility and follow our safeguarding policies and procedures.
If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL):
Designated Safeguarding Lead:
- Mrs Burke (Executive Headteacher)
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads:
- Mrs Wood (Deputy Headteacher)
- Miss Sime (Family Support Worker)
- Mrs Wright (SENDCO)
- Miss Screen (Calipso class teacher)
- Mrs Smith (Mariner class teacher)
